I was in my early forties when I decided to record this band. We'd been playing together for a while and I wanted to document the work. I was so lucky to have Alphonso Johnson, Ralph Humphrey, Carl Verheyen, Jim Lacefield, Ernie Watts, and Rob Lockart help me realize my music.
